The Undergraduate Program of Political Science was established in 2013 to response the dynamics of political reformation and democratization in Indonesia and also in global wide. This program is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of the key concepts and theories in the field of political science. The program covers a wide range of topics, specifically in three cluster of studies, namely politics of electoral, politics of citizenship, and politics of government. 

The program is taught by a team of experienced and qualified faculty members who are dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and career goals. The faculty members are actively involved in research, which ensures that the program remains up to date with the latest developments in the field. To graduate from the program, students are required to complete a minimum of 144 credits, including core courses, elective courses, and a thesis. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities, such as internships, seminars, and workshops, which can enhance their learning experience and provide them with practical skills and experience. To support practical skills and experience, the Program is engaged with reputable institutions as collaboration partners in international and national level, such as the Committee of General Election, General Election Supervisory Agency, Government Agency, Politcal Party, Non-Government Organization, Research Institutions, Mass Media and other universities.

The Political Science Undergraduate Study Program at Padjadjaran University was officially established in 2012 with an operational license based on the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number 385/E/O/2012 and began accepting new students in the 2013/2014 academic year.
